Plymouth Yacht Haven


Turn left off A38 at Marsh Mills roundabout onto A374 signed Plymouth City Centre.
After 1 1/4 mile get into left hand lane and follow signs for Kingsbridge A379.
This takes you across Laira Bridge where you will see the first signs for Mount Batten and Turnchapel.
After crossing the Laira Bridge, at the first roundabout turn right.
At the next roundabout take the second exit, cross pedestrian lights, and continue straight on until traffic lights at crossroads.
Turn right and then go straight through a second set of lights.
Keep on this road (for approx 1 1/2 miles), crossing straight over three mini-roundabouts and continuing.
At the next roundabout, turn right into Plymouth Yacht Haven. Sat Nav/ Post Code PL9 9XH
Visitor Car Park on left at bttom of the slope.

How to get to Lymington Yacht Haven

  1. Leave M27 at Exit 1 (Cadnam and Lyndhurst).
  2. At bottom of slip road turn left at roundabout.
  3. At next roundabout take 3rd exit to Lyndhurst – A337.
  4. On entering Lyndhurst you turn left (compulsory) at the Traffic Lights.
  5. Get into the right hand lane and follow the signs for the A337 Brockenhurst / Lymington.
  6. Continue along the A337 straight through Brockenhurst, over the railway lines and straight on to Lymington.
  7. On reaching Lymington at the mini roundabout continue straight on along Southampton Road following signs for riverside marinas.
  8. From Bournemouth take the A337 through Christchurch, New Milton and Pennington.
  9. You will reach a roundabout after the shell garage in Pennington, Turn right at this roundabout, following signs for riverside marinas.
  10. After a No Entry on the right, the next right signposted Yacht Haven leads to us.
  11. Drive slowly to barrier and it lifts we are on Pontoon H11, if the barrier to the lower car park is down and you don’t know code then park in upper one and walk down to find us.

An increasingly popular option especially from London and Southampton airport.
Waterloo or several other stations to Brockenhurst, then either to Lymington Town and a 15 minute walk along the river to the Yacht Haven or catch a Taxi from Brockenhurst all the way to the lower car park at the Yacht Haven for about £15. [Check connection time at Brockenhurst–the train waits if the London one is a few minutes late].
