Coastal Skipper and YM Prep

Coastal Skipper and YM Prep

Just hit big e-mail issue so please use paulandjudith.jackson@btinternet.com to contact us

We have a Coastal Skipper Practical over a week which includes 2 Channel crossings (subject to weather) and we take mile builders and adventurous Comp Crew on this as well. We do not mix CS and DS as they are fundamentally different Syllabi. As with our other RYA courses these are run via LYC Sea School RYA-tick

We have contacts to arrange an examiner for YM offshore and this could be done for YM Coastal but I believe you are best to spend your money on working to full YM Offshore rather than on the YM Coastal exam. So our CS courses will fully cover the Syllabus but if you want to take the exam it is extra cost and an extra day.

Yachtmaster Prep. There is no formal course but we will help prepare you for the exam by assessing where your skills and experience need to be developed, then working with you to achieve the required standard. We have a couple of regular team members who will be doing their YM later this year so drop us an e-mail or phone to discuss what you want to achieve.
