2012 Round Ireland, Cork week, Lord Howe Island?
After consulting the rest of the team we have decided to do the Round Ireland Race and about 12 other events–it means missing the Eddystone race and the RTI but we will do Cork Week which is 7th to 13th July.
There will be some places in the 2012 team due to the normal marriages,[Damian and Kate have a Son] moves etc so if you are interested e-mail me. We are also thinking about putting together a team for the Lord Howe Island Race in October 2012 and sailing for 3 weeks off Australia–possibly going on to Norfolk Island before returning to Sydney. Not cheap but we came first in this year’s race and it is the only annual Ocean race from Australia—Sydney Hobart is only Offshore.
Single races are available and, as in previous years, we will run a race team with 13 events scheduled at a cost of £2500 or £2250 if you book and pay first installment by 12th December.
