Cork week–£995
Cork Week is 7th to 13th July. Widely regarded as the most sociable regatta in the world, it is an event every sailor with an interest in racing should do at least once.
This trip includes intensive race training on 4-7 July ready for one of the worlds friendliest but competitive regattas. Racing daily from 7-12 July and then an optional passage back across the Irish Sea to Milford Haven at the end of the week.
Price includes all safety gear, food during training and races plus optional trip across Irish Sea to Milford Haven after the 10 days and all fees, fuel and Marina costs. Accommodation on board is included as well and Wild Spirit has 8 berths. For those preferring a sumptuous double bed reasonable Hotel deals are also available.
Cheap flights are available to Cork and Dublin airports.
Wild Spirit finished 14th out of 114 in Class for the RORC in 2011 and with 2 new sails we intend to get back into the top 10% which we enjoyed in 2009 and 2010. for more details see the about Wild spirit page.
We are also thinking about putting together a team for the Lord Howe Island Race in October 2012 and sailing for 3 weeks off Australia then returning to Sydney. Not cheap but Andy and I came first in last year’s race and it is the only annual Ocean race from Australia—Sydney Hobart is merely Offshore.
