Family skippered charter

We had a good long weekend sail with a family on board.
First full day was a bit wet and windy so a trip up the Tamar with the tide followed by lunch and a run back with the tide and a walk out to the Fort at MountBatten was the favoured option.
It wasn’t a Milebuilder trip but we sailed to Fowey the next day arriving in time for a couple of hours Stand up Paddle boarding and then sailed back close to the coast to Plymouth in a brisk Northerly and sunshine averaging over 7 knots.
With 66 NM logged it wasn’t a real Mile Building trip but good experience ahead of family bareboat sailing in 2021.
